More than just a decorative eye-catcher: the ROBODOG, designed by Detlef Klatt, is the designer's declaration of love for the stray dogs that are part of the landscape of many streets and beaches in the Philippines. The handmade object has a special charm as an eye-catcher, table centerpiece, or small stool, and can also be used as a tray. The ROBODOG object is hand-crafted from driftwood and assembled using traditional methods. This means that no two objects are alike. The ROBODOG measures around 52 cm to the tips of its attentively pointed ears and 30 cm at the back.
